Baking has always been more than just a hobby for me; it's my passion, which only comes second to my love for my wife and computers. For years, I found my greatest joy in creating delicious treats from scratch and sharing them with friends and family. I poured my heart into countless batches of cookies, cakes, and breads, but the thought of turning my passion into a business was always a distant dream. Baking was my cherished escape, a way to relax and express myself outside of my day job as a cloud system engineer for the government.

That all changed when DOGE came around and my role was eliminated. It was a difficult moment, but it became the catalyst I needed to embrace a different path. Losing my job wasn't the end—it was the beginning of my journey to finally follow a dream I had put on hold.

This site, a place to offer both my baked goods and my technical prowess, is the result of that leap of faith. As a small, Black-owned business, I'm so proud to share my passions with you. Every recipe (both baked with an oven and with computer code) is made with the same love and care I've always put into my baking and IT, now with the added purpose of building something of my own. I'm excited to share a little bit of that homemade happiness with you, and I hope you'll join me on this sweet journey.
